I've Got My Eyelet on You

Let me start out by saying that I'm not the biggest fan of the color orange.
Ever since this post, (when I received a handful of comments on the orange dress) I decided that I should incorporate the color orange more into my daily outfits.
I bought this eyelet dress from Express last year as my graduation dress (mainly because I wanted to stick out from my classmates. And what says 'all eyes on me' than a neon dress? Exactly.
#gobrightorgohome

It's the perfect 'twirl-worthy' dress and I whip it out here and then when I feel like blinding people on the streets. Which... isn't fairly too often. But when I do, it's kind of awesome.

{ I wore this look differently in a very old post here. }

On Crop of the World

Golden hour is by far my favorite time of the day in the summer.
I'm all for lighting when it comes to shooting blog pictures. I'm known for being a perfectionist when it comes to things like that. Seriously. Ask anyone.

I was torn between wearing pink or orange lipstick, so I opted for both.
Out of boredom and my knack of always-trying-to-try-new-things, I mixed the two and even posted my two-tone lipstick on Instagram the other day. Brownie points to the fact that it matches my Benevolent Jewels earrings!

I've been opting for crop tops as of late, due to the heat wave that Fayetteville has to offer.
I don't like showing too much midriff, but pairing it with a skater skirt really helps balance the look. Just enough so it's showing the right amount of skin.

How do you style your crop tops?

Say Hi To My New Boyfriend (Jeans)

First thing's first: this outfit is one of my favorites.
Maybe it's the fact that it's my first post with this white blazer. Or maybe it has to do with the matchy-matchy flowy top and peach ankle-strap wedges. OR... maybe it has do with the fact that everything (minus the Barrington tote bag and sunnies) is brand new and that's always a great feeling.

I did a bit a lot of retail therapy during Finals week at Bluetique Cheap Chic in Chapel Hill. I was stressing...coffee and yopo weren't helping so I had to take matters another way.
Apologies to my wallet.

Memorial Day Ready

Wow, can you believe Memorial Day weekend is just right around the corner?!
Time is flying. Seriously.

Now on to the outfit... I wore this on Easter Sunday a while back and thought it was the perfect look for Memorial Day weekend. My sister and I snapped a few outfit shots in Coker Arboretum (also in this post) because I was obsessed with the colorful, bright blooming flowers and I pretty much made the most of it. I love how perfectly the backdrop complements my lace dress. Pretty much screams Spring.
Also, I'm so obsessed with this Moon & Lola pearl necklace. I added my vintage Chanel brooch to personalize the look a little more.

What are you wearing for Memorial Day weekend?
