I used to love the concept of sharing various red, white + blue looks throughout the summer in my many years of blogging. Even though I haven't quite lived up to the expectation of creating a 'red, white + blue' series for holidays like Memorial Day weekend and 4th of July, I still like piecing together inspirational looks for you guys to recreate or purchase for the summer festivities.
If you're planning on spending Memorial Day weekend out by the lake or a picnic with family and friends, you're more than likely to not wear a dress or a skirt. Let's be honest. But a skort? I'm sold.
I was immediately drawn to this Lilly Pulitzer skort because of the side slit and the fun white embroidery detailing. Not to mention, the material is pretty thick, so you don't have to worry about any wind mishaps.
What are your thoughts on this skort?
