Party In the Front... And Back

The post title says it all.
This SUNdress (hah, get it?) is quite possibly one of my spring favorites. Maybe it has something to do with the meticulous detailing on the front and back, or maybe it has something to do with the fact that this dress has pockets, or maybe it's just all of the above. Whatever the case, I'm sold.
One more quick thing: this dress runs a bit large on the sides. I'm wearing a size small and I just wish it wasn't so open. That's why I opted for wedges to show more emphasis on the legs. Simple hacks like that really do help!

Sidenote: I'm off to New York City today for a couple of interviews and meetings.
I have a lot going on for the couple of days I'll be there, so be sure to follow along on Instagram and Snapchat (bygracelee) to see what I'm up to!

A Little Reminder From the Weekend...

I'm at the point in the semester where I'm just... done.
Don't worry, the motivation to finish out the semester strong is still there. I know what I need to do and what it takes to make it through, but my mind is just set on summer.
Every so now and then, I'll take a break from all the busy work around me and just imagine living in New York City (even if it is temporary) and simply, smile.
I know it's only a month and a half away, but you all probably know by now that patience has never been my strong suit.

I went home for Easter weekend, and kind of had this "moment" where I just felt the need to forget about all the workload I had for school and spend it with my family. We had a blast. From watching  UNC basketball games, ordering pizza, to attending Easter service... you can say it was quite a weekend. We also ended up watching Allegiant (if you haven't seen it already, GO WATCH IT) and even managed to shoot this look before it started to rain.

If there's anything you get out of this post, just remember to spend time with your family. And cherish every minute of it. Even if it's occasionally sending them a text every now and then. A simple hi. A how are you. I miss you.
Seriously. A little effort goes a long way.

You can never go wrong with a white-on-white look when you're in a wardrobe rut. Tuck in the front of your white button-down and play with a pop of color. Such as this Henri Bendel satchel bag. One of my favorite colors for spring.

How fun is this plaid elbow patch on this jacket?! So cute.

When On Melrose Ave...

...one must snap a photo (or several) in front of the iconic Paul Smith wall.
Check.

I hope you are all enjoying your long weekend! This top has been on repeat lately. I love the ruffle-sleeves, and the gingham print is perfect for spring. Well worth the $26. ;)

Happy Easter!
