New Hair, New Year

Guys. This is the last post for 2014. It's kinda bittersweet.
It's crazy to believe we are on page 365 of 365. I can't wait to close the last page on this book of 2014 and start a brand new chapter on a new year.
 On the note of new beginnings, it was time for a change. Every year I get my hair re-highlighted and I love the idea of getting my hair done just in time for the new year.

Onto the outfit... fuzzy sweaters have been my jam as of late. They make for the comfiest attire (especially when traveling), and I decided on a blackout look with a pop of pastel. This light blue moto jacket is on SALE, for those who want to snag it for almost half off ;)

Thank you all for following along with me this year. It's been an incredible journey, and it would not have been possible without all of you guys. From starting this link-up with Elizabeth and Brenna to even starting a YouTube channel... I have to say, you all are SO supportive and I cannot wait to see what 2015 brings!

P.S. What's everyone wearing for New Year's?!

OBX Travel Diary (VIDEO)

[ make sure to watch in HD ]

As I mentioned in this post (here), my family and I like to travel around Christmas time. We took a long roadtrip to OBX, North Carolina for a couple of days to relax on the beach, go sightseeing, and hiking at Nags Head.

I compiled a little travel diary of my stay at OBX. I'll be uploading a short video of my outfits on the trip, so be sure to SUBSCRIBE to my YouTube channel so you'll get notified when the next video is up! ;)

Here's a few snaps I posted on Instagram and some that didn't make the cut, but I still wanted to share with you all...

Thanks for stopping by!

LuLu*s Party Perfect

|| { part 1 } || { part 2 } || {part 3 } ||

A New Year's Eve party is the best excuse to pull out your sequins, if you haven't been wearing any, in my case - wearing enough, this holiday season. My besties and I had a fun photo booth with NYE props and lots of confetti. Even though it literally took me an entire day to clean all the confetti up! OOPS.
The glitter paper horns had us cracking up the entire time. I'd snag a handful for your party guests. They're a great (and entertaining) way to spark up some conversation.

On another note, I love it when my besties join in on my photo-shoot fun because let's be honest, the holidays are all about being with your favorite people, and there's nothing quite like mixing both "work" and play. Am I right?
