Spring Flare + IG Giveaway!

I tend to rant about the beauty of Chapel Hill in the Spring about this time of year.
I said it last year and I'll say it again: Spring on campus is such a beautiful thing to witness. Not only has the weather been on the chillier side lately, but I have also been very stressed and bogged down with work, and thus... I haven't been able to fully appreciate all of this beautiful nature around me. Every day I make my trek to classes on campus and I pass by these beautiful white trees and pretty, blooming flowers and it reminds me that I need to take more blog photos there I need to stop once in a while, take a deep breath, and just smile

As for the outfit...
I love the effortless chic look of a graphic tee paired with a skirt. It's a great combo when you want to be comfortable, yet chic at the same time. I like to pair my graphic tees with a statement necklace or statement earrings, like these turquoise drop ones. Which leads me to this...

Today, I've teamed up with Honey Bee BoutiqueWatermelon Sparklies, and Nayeli Clothing Company on Instagram to give away THREE items from their shops! Head over to my IG to enter:

Celine & the City

I'm currently in one of those post-travel slums right now.
I don't have a really sensitive stomach, by all means, but I've been feeling the need to detox. It's been constantly on my mind this entire week. While in NYC, I allowed myself to have foods that my stomach wasn't accustomed to. My stomach hasn't been digesting as well as I hoped and I haven't been able to eat right lately. I've been researching and trying to find a cleanse to detox my system as I adjust to my regular schedule back home.

What are some of your favorite cleanses? I'd love to hear some recommendations and try some new ones that you guys like! Shoot them at me. I could really use all the help I can get.

As for the outfit...
I wore this denim on denim look to the airport and DAY 1 in New York City. I ended up layering in a trench coat later that night because it was freezing. I love how the black hat balances out this sporty chic look with the leather pants. Denim on denim is one of my favorite trends and can we please talk about this chambray color coordination with this Celine bag?! #obsessed

Scallops for Spring

One of my favorite trends for Spring is scallops. It's such a fun and girly trend that makes me want to escape for a mini vacay to the beach. I love this fun, white scallop skirt that can be easily paired with various colored tops. The first thing I notice about purchasing white clothing is the material. For bottoms, such as denim or skirts, I like to have the material thick enough so it's not see-through. There's nothing worse than having sheer bottoms. Yuck.

Luckily, this scallop skirt is thick to wear by itself and though it does shed (excuse that white string), it's a definite winner for a warm Spring day.

What are your thoughts on the scallop trend?

And if you're still in the cold, here's another way you can wear white-on-white.

Don't forget to link-up with me and my ladies for #WIWWlinkup at the bottom :)

Sharing a little Spring-time rainy day look to brighten up your Tuesday.
Denim jackets are one of my favorite pieces to incorporate in a Spring wardrobe. Because I know I'll be gravitating towards classic denim pieces, I try to keep my options open by investing in light denim, as well as dark denim jackets.

What's your favorite shade of denim? Dark or light? Or both?

P.S. thank you Puddle Jumper Bows for the red boot bow!
