Upcoming Travel Plans + Cyber Monday Sales!

Can you believe today is the last day of November?!
Tomorrow marks the start of a new (and last) month of the year, which means two things:
1. Finals. Luckily, I finish everything in one week, so I'll be heading home early for break. The downfall of that is, all my finals are clumped together and start pretty early for me.
2. Traveling. Plans. I have a few plans laid out for the upcoming winter break.

Which brings me to my next point.
I'm partnering up with Glamping Hub in January to go on a little North Carolina Getaway trip with my YouTube gal pal Natalie. I don't want to share too much of our plans just yet because I'll go into depth as the time comes, but I wanted to introduce you all to Glamping Hub first.

By definition, glamping refers to luxury camping or glamorous camping.
I love that glamping allows you to get in touch with the outdoors and nature without having to "rough it." Ha. As a girl who is particularly not so fond of bugs, glamping as an option comes in handy!

If you're looking for a North Carolina Getaway for the upcoming winter break, there are tons and tons of options you can choose from! From cabins in the mountains to the beaches to the lakes, to even luxury tents, feel free to peruse through to learn more about Glamping Hub!

P.S. check out Cyber Monday sales below the jump! Some of these end TODAY, so be sure to snag those deals in before midnight!

NC State Tailgate Idea + NEW Video!

Okay, let me explain: I am not by any means a NC State fan.
I shot and filmed this tailgate look a few weeks back because I really wanted to film a UNC and NC State tailgate video in time for the Carolina State football game this weekend, but wasn't able to film the UNC look. Instead, I just edited the State look and posted it on my channel (here).

So for any State fans or students reading today's post, here's a tailgate idea for you!
I love wrapping a plaid button-down shirt around my waist to add definition to the waistline to a simple LBD.

Is anyone attending the Carolina State game in Raleigh this weekend?

P.S. I'm guest-blogging over on OCM's Blog today.
I'm talking about 3 looks to wear for the holidays... would love for you all to read it!

Sequins of Events

With Thanksgiving in just a few days and December right around the corner, this sequin jacket is the perfect holiday outerwear. I'm usually opposed to ordering sequin clothing online without trying it on, just because sequins can be tricky, but I fell in love with this jacket the minute it arrived. It's light enough to wear and even has slits on the side.

I'm even considering wearing this leather + sequins combo for a possible New Year's event.  I would definitely recommend going with a bold red lip!

Are you a fan of the sequin jacket??

Ombré + Kendra Scott Giveaway Winners Announced!

Alas. Thanksgiving Week.
Normally, I would have started off with another 'where has the time gone?!' but I feel like I've used that line just about every other week because honestly... where has the time gone.

Things are starting to get serious (and scary). I've been staring wide-eyed at my planner at finals week and I may have reached for a tissue or two, in the process. Despite all the stress that I'm sure I'll be under in the next two weeks or so (bear with me), I'm excited to be finishing up early this year to spend the rest of December with my family.

As for the outfit...
I'm really loving this ombré fuzzy sweater. I hate sweaters that are shapeless and make me feel bulky, but this one isn't too thick. It seriously feels like I'm wearing a blanket and I love tucking in the front part of the sweater into my skirt to give it some shape.
*drum roll please*
Congrats to my two Kendra Scott Game Day Giveaway winners:
@casey_fallin + @kaylacasa_

When On Franklin Street...

When Oasis and Shopping Links asked me to share my favorite street here in Chapel Hill for the #UpMyStreet Campaign, I knew just the one: Franklin Street.

Many of you fellow Tar Heels should already know that Franklin Street is the center of social life. Due to all the restaurants, bars, coffee shops, boutiques, etc., Franklin Street is always populated with people and college students.
