Dare to Flare

It's easy to want to gravitate towards dresses for the holidays.
It's easier to shop for, you just need shoes and accessories, etc... however, I think that skirts are just as easy, if not more festive. I sometimes find it difficult to find the perfect holiday dress. It's nerve-racking because either someone may own it, or it may not be in my size... the list goes on and on. But wearing skirts for the holiday season allows you to get creative and even have an excuse to go buy a festive top. Hashtag thanks Grace, you've won me over.

The tip is to opt for a red or gold skirt, or a color that will stand out, as your statement piece. I wanted the skirt to stand out, so I went for a simple black sweater and minimal bling.

Do you prefer skirts or dresses for holiday festivities?
I'd love to hear your thoughts below!
